Our ministry intern for 2007-08 is Thomas H. Priest, Jr. Tom comes to us with a wealth of experience in the church and the business world. He has been a part-time student at Ecumenical Theological Seminary. A recent early retirement from DaimlerChrysler, where he worked as an engineer, has enabled him to pursue his theological studies full-time.
Tom is an elder and a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Detroit. He has served the Presbytery of Detroit in a variety of ways. He has served on the ARRT (Anti-Racism and Reconciliation Team) and is a co-chair. He has also been part of the Urban Task Force and the Multicultural Church Task Force as well as the Black Caucus.
At Littlefield, Tom is gaining valuable experience in many aspects of ministry, including preaching and worship leadership. He is also leading the adult Sunday school Bible study on the prophet Isaiah.
